| Yes, could people in VA share location and price for rapid tests? TIA. |
Did they require you to be a DC resident? Did you have to say you had symptoms in order to qualify for the Rapid test? (One Medstar website said you could get tested for travel purposes specifically but that the Rapid tests were for symptomatic people only.) |
Under 18 not required to test for Maine |
CVS test was free, but it took 8 days before I received the results and that was 2 weeks ago. |
Not sure about residency requirement. I made appointment online and selected covid testing and you can select travel as a reason. I think depending on number of rapid tests they have will determine if you get one. I guess in this case since the Maine requirement is to have one, they gave one to us. |
| I just tried to "save a spot" (which I think is the same as making an appointment) for MedStar Adams Morgan, and the first available appointment in Sunday. Did you get in the same day? |
|
What about trying the McLean Pharmacy? They say they call with results — do they give you a formal document with results?

For sure! I'm in chantilly and it is still far! |
Could you please give us name of rapid testing location in Warrenton? |
|
I think the Warrenton one is Piedmont Urgent Care. Does anyone know cost?
Also Medical Access in Alexandria seems to have it too. Any others in Virginia? |
| Piedmont was $75 and there’s another one Nightwatch. Problem is that these rapid tests are notorious for false positives. |
|
Preston's Pharmacy in Arlington.
3 days and $35 |
| Isn't insurance supposed to pay for the testing anyway? |
False negatives or false positives? |
False negative. https://khn.org/news/abbott-rapid-test-problems-grow-fda-standards-on-covid-tests-under-fire/ |
