It’s a published on the record interview of someone with two published cookbooks and a New York Times column. She went after two Asian women. And you think it’s fine because she was candid about it?

Exactly. Why go after 2 Asian women specifically while taking credit for “creating” watered down Asian recipes. And she says she’s for women? Really? Think again, you exposed yourself.

I have made THE stew as well as THE cookies and both were very disappointing. Looks very bad for her to go after 2 Asian women. She needs media training.

Funny part was Chrissy was going was signed to be an executive producer of Alison’s show. Guess she shot herself in the foot big time.

What the hell? Between her and Emily Giffen, what is going on with these mediocre writers lashing out at other women?

ffs, alison tries so hard NOT to try. “Oh, I don’t care how many followers I have. Like, fck , like you know?” So authentic!

Her recipes are meh, in general. And she is A VERY self satisfied millennial. She says things like "I was the first person to come up with regramming" as if she alone invented posting pics of others' references to her recipes. In general, not a self aware or particularly inspiring person.

If you’re talking about “the stew” don’t bother. I don’t understand her hype.

I hope Chrissy gets the show cancelled. Ungrateful b.

Honestly, Chrissie has a ghost cookbook author Adeena Sussman who wrote all of her recipes, so nobody’s hands here are particularly clean or original.

And I thought ‘insta’ was insipid enough, she takes it to another level.

All celebs have ghost writers for their cookbooks. Julia Turshen is the one behind GOOP’s books. Melissa Clark collaborates with a lot of cookbook authors including Paula Deen. This is not news or a secret.
I don’t see Chrissy trashing other women for their success. Alison Roman messed up big time.

Oh I’m sorry, I didn’t realize Chrissy attacked this woman publicly. I can totally see how her having a ghostwriter is the same thing as what Alison did. Maybe I’m just confused.

I’m a WoC but am not Asian. Her going after these particular women, when this lifestyle/cooking space is predominantly made up of Caucasian women, seems racially motivated to me.

So many other people she could make the same points about but whose success doesn’t seem to bother her.

Gotta call BS. Celebs are not chefs. Alison Roman is a trained chef. Lynne Rossetto Kasper wrote her own cookbooks and didn’t whore herself out with a Target line built by Chinese child laborers like Chrissy. She has no moral authority here.
