Can't lose the last 5 lbs. Help!

Move more. On the days you don't work out, go for a brisk walk. The longer, the better.

True my body does like this weight. I was 135 and could pretty much eat whatever I wanted within moderation. Droppong the first 5 was super easy but this last 5 doesn't want to budge. Yes this is purely for vanity, but 125 is still a reasonable and healthy weight for my height.

Agree that it’s reasonable. I’m just wondering why you would “suffer” to lose 5 lbs when you could eat anything at 135 and that’s also reasonable. I’m your height and 157 and in good shape. Just love who you are and enjoy life—including eating yummy foods!

I think you are eating too less already
I guess cutting less won’t help and could hurt your health.

Is it your body type, Are you big boned?
130 could be right for your body type.
I am small boned and not hard to go down to 125 Eating quite a bit more than you.

No not big boned but I am muscular, especially in my lags. I may try cutting carbs more and see if that moves the scale without having to decrease calories. But I hesitate to cut out too many foods thinking the weight will come back when I eat more versatile again.

how many calories are you eating?

to get to 125 you would need to eat 1250-1500 cal to lose weight.

how accurately are you tracking; weighing/measuring everything? are you hitting your calorie target at least 90% if the time?

what will losing 5 lbs get you? just a number on the scale you like? How much do you really want it? being a low weight requires some sacrifice/major lifestyle changes; saying no to dinner out, not having that glass of wine. Is it really worth it you you?

I would focus on the exercise portion. What are you doing when you workout? Try HIIT classes or start lifting heavier weight. You're eating next to nothing now (except I would ditch the carbs), IDK how you could eat less and what kind of life is that anyway?

You sound too thin.

I was 110 and 5'5" in my 20's, 120'2 in my 30's and my husband (boyfriend at the time) said I looked sickly. I fluctuate now between 135-145.

125 is too thin, stick with 135. You can get rid of the apple and berries (sugar), substitute veggies.

WTF? NO! You don't nee to get rid of fruit to lose weight. You just need to make sure your calories are in check.

Don't get rid of the berries, that insane. They are ok even on keto diet. They are healthy. Eat some walnuts though! If you just up your workout you will lose it, don't change your diet.

Really? According to BMI for 5'5'' 114-145 lbs is the healthy weight range. I know everyone is built differently, but I can't imagine a goal of 125 is "too thin" to still be healthy.

All I know is my doctor told me that 145 was ideal weight for me and I am only 5'2". That's my goal and before anyone calls 145 fat that is what I was told. 130 for me would be thin and i imagine if i was taller it would be too skinny. Op is free to ignore my advice, of course.

I think body dismorphia is diagnosed wrong today! It is not think teens that have it, it is people like above pp who thinks her ideal weight is 145 at 5'2". I mean, wth? I am 5'4" and bit under 120lbs and certainly have a nice fat on my belly that embarrassingly folds over all the time!

Oh please! Medical professionals are people and he/she is making you feel better or they have a weight issue too. My Dr. thinks I could stand to lose 10lbs! Right back at me? What, back at me? That you are overweight, but think you are not? That you find someone that is resigned at the obesity critics and unless you needs a wheel chair, you are doing ok?
Here is your BMI. What is your starting point? 200lbs? Then 145 sounds fantastic to your Dr!
