Arlington lost to Loudoun repeatedly and to Springfield.

You can check the record at

They lost to Loudoun. Loudoun lost (convincingly at least by score?) to the Richmond Strikers. Yes Loudoun (maybe Arlington?) are stronger vs other Nova teams but not strong in the region. Clearly 3rd behind the Baltimore Clubs and Richmond Strikers. Too bad Richmond strikers are not in the WAGS would be nice to see them play Baltimore Union. Will have to settle for Loudoun playing Baltimore Union.

Arlington relies on athleticism and is not very strong technically. It’s hard to judge the soccer IQ of the team because of the lack of technical ability. They will beat teams that are less athletic but lose to teams who are close athletically but with better technical skill and soccer IQ - ie can play soccer. At U12 you see this type of transitions. It’s not a very impressive team in term of playing soccer. Will be interesting to see what happens when they move to the big field next year. As they say...no one is faster vs the ball and the ball never gets tired.

Baltimore Union? They just tied SYC 2008 back to back look at the record. They couldn’t even beat one of the weakest teams i NOVA TWICE. Loudoun is easily best in the area. Points are just biased towards MD teams

VSA beat Loudoun twice 2 weeks ago (Loudoun Premier Cup).

Look at the results from Jeff Cup; those probably had a lot to do with WAGS flights. Arlington was 0-3. SYA got smoked.

Maybe you are think about Baltimore Union Select(2nd) vs Baltimore Union Elite(1st)? I do not see any results for Baltimore Union playing SYC 2008. I do see Baltimore Union Select beating Loudoun black 1-0 at the Jeff Cup.

Who cares what you think? You are not the moderator of this board. Here is something you can do ....start your own thread and stop posting on threads you do not care about.

seems jeff cup bases their flights solely on gotsoccer rankings.

You my friend have too much time on your hand.. Maybe you should join a chess club?

I for one am a big fan of youthsoccerranking only because my DD team is in a higher placement than gotsoccer

I can’t believe NPL is really calling it ECNL regional now. Should CCL change there name to DA ELITE Regional maybe that could start a new war

Thats actually a good idea someone should start a new thread on that

Does anyone else find the CCL website confusing? How do you tell which team(first- CCL or second - CCL2) is playing? There are colors listed but some times those colors do not correspond to the colors of the teams. A friend said this was the home and away colors but those do not correspond either.

Only if they charge more money and play out of state every weekend. I heard the CCL is having scheduling problems below u12....so maybe it’s time to rebrand.

So what are the interesting match ups? My DD team is playing but we always have to arrive so early may be able to catch so games.

Referees get a sneak peak at the fields a few weeks before so the games can get assigned as far in advance as possible. Looks like U11s and U12s are out at Evergreen and Loudoun Soccer Park.

First time that DD's team is participating in this tournament. Is it correct that some of the games may take all the way in Fredericksburg? Thought this was mostly a Fairfax County based tournament for games?
