PS. PP back. Maisie is also a very lovely, classic, fun nickname for Mary, if you would be interested. Also: Mamie, Polly. I love all the variations on Mary. |
I dislike Mary but was considering Amalia nn Molly. I think molly is fine as is though. |
You could officially name her Mary Elizabeth and call her Molly or Molly Bess. |
I do not care for nicknames as "real" names. IMHO, it comes across as : "Oh, sorry, we did not realize this was just a nickname!" I think it sounds uneducated and in-self aware. |
Ok. How about Amalia Catherine? NN Molly? |
OP said the first name is Molly. Why are people trying to rename her first name? Anyways, Molly is adorable. I'd suggest a family last name. It would sound like a nice balance with the kind of girlie name of Molly.
I have the opposite problem - we argue over middle names because we have so many family names we'd like to use. And DH doesn't like the argument that if he gets the last name, my family gets the middle name! |
Love Molly!
Molly Jade Molly Jill Molly Paige Molly Elyse Molly Kate Molly Tess |
I love the name Molly! We use family surnames for middle names - any great Irish last names in your families? Molly McGuire, for example, is a great name! |
I love the name Molly and hate the name Mary. |
Molly Jordan
Molly Blue |
I know a Molly Rebekah.
I think that Molly is a great name! |

I know a Molly Eileen. Not a nickname either. Molly is totally fine. |
