Private & Independent Schools
This looks spot on. |
| Lol Bullis |
| Op don’t listen to this mess. My wife and I visited Billie and the facilities are top notch. Out of everyone listed only Georgetown Prep could compare. Furthermore, the children have amazing robotics, engineering, art and music classes. My wife and i both went to Ivy Schools and were very impressed. These parents on this board are steering you incorrectly. Steer your own ship |

| Of these, only Bullis does not pretend to be a boys school. |

I'm not from around here, but when you all opine about the academics of these schools, are you actually looking at the course lists and what the top students take, what the least rigorous offerings are, etc.?
How do you all know what the academics are at all of these schools? Not SATs or test scores, but what the kids actually learn in school (as opposed to test prep or where their parents can afford to send them to college with or without donations and legacy). I'm most interested in whether there is an actual difference in what and how much they learn. |
| I just want my son to attend a school that makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside. |
| Good facilities don’t correlate to strong academics. Bullis hopes people will fall for the marketing and flash. Dig deeper. |
We care about the high school education. I sincerely only care about the academics. |

Don't know, but our options were STA, Landon & Potomac. I chose STA, son chose Landon. Landon it was. At Landon for four years and couldn't be happier. So here goes.
STA Landon Prep Gonzaga Bullis |
| The readers of Bethesda magazine who chose Bullis as the best school in the area for academics for 2019 obviously don't read DCUM. Thank goodness most people don't! |

The readers of Bethesda Magazine also lives insides their own belly, rocking in a little cul-de-sac. |
Besides the grammatical errors, where does one start with this nonsensical response? |
Surprised they didn’t like Landon which has a Bethesda address |
