Etc.?

I feel like these looks were around 2010, not early 2000s.
I think low rise jeans, not skinny, flares with big pockets or stitching on the back. (7's, COH, Trus Religion) Or no back pockets.
Halter tops and dresses
Velour jogging suits
Trucker hats
Cargo pants in satin
Pashminas

No, the low rises with the big stitching and flares were DEFINITELY in full force in the early 2000s (the Britney Spears era) and by 2010 skinnies were on the market. Same with Juicy tracksuits. I mean, by 2010 Juicy was bankrupt and being sold to Kohl's.

NM I re-read your post. I'm confused. Sorry.

Thats me and I agree I wrote it weird and confusing...

Actually boot cuts are back as are statement necklaces
Agree that colored jeans are still a thing, just not all colors

I think pop of color shoes, statement necklaces, and leggings with dresses will always be style options. They only look dated if you try to do them in a trendy way. So no, don't wear the statement necklace you got from the Loft in 2007; but do wear any beautiful, unique piece you may have picked up at a flea market or on your travels. Same thing with shoes. Leggings with dresses are just a comfortable look that will be around for time immemorial. Agree with you about scarves in the heat, jewel-toned jeans, and especially skinny jeans that bunch (blech!!)

Yes. It’s so try-hard. Look at me with my bright shoes, aren’t I interesting! No. You’re passé.

ONLY if the leggings with dresses are with boots. There is not a single look I find more frumpy, goofy or absurd than leggings, a work dress, an awkward 1-2 inches of pale winter skin and dumpy flats.or worse, heels.

I never understood statement necklaces, I always thought they looked tacky and cheap.

Shimmery makeup
Skinny eyebrows
Pink velour sweatsuits
Bootcut jeans and flats or sneakers
Wide brown or black belts with jeans
“Diamond” belly button rings

Unfortunately early 2000’s bubblegum fashion is already cycling back (juicy couture track suits, glitter, pink, square-tip French manicure, thinner eyebrows, lower rise jeans). This will be back in full force over the next couple of years.
