"My family has a theory about milk...we do NOT drink the stuff" ????

Didn't do that for me or my brothers. And we all drank a lot of milk.

My kids are only 6 and 8. No sign of boobs, but I guess there's still time.

My husband practically lived on milk and he is 6' and skinny. No man boobs.

My sister and I were forced to drink at least 3 cups of milk a day (I always hated milk) and we both got our periods around 13, same as my mom who was born in 1946. (We were born in the early 80s.) Kids are hitting puberty much earlier these days but it can't be the milk itself. Something in the milk, like hormones, perhaps, but not just fact that it comes from a cow.

It means that they are Vegans. No big deal. Give them pomegranate juice.

Sounds like they don't drink milk for health reasons. Lots of families don't, although not all of them advertise it.

If you're curious about their reasons, maybe you could just ask them?

Not sure why you'd say they must be vegan. Lots of families eat meat but don't drink milk.

How bout if you only drink it while wearing a tinfoil hat.

OP, it means they lead their lives and make their decisions based on emotions ("theories"), rather than science, evidence and facts. They are not as smart as you think they are.

Some people are grossed out by milk, OP. I'm one of them. I realize I'm in the minority, but it is what it is. Watching an adult drink milk makes me gag. Kids slightly less so. People are entitled to their perspectives.

Huh? The patriarch is a successful dental surgeon. By the way, they eat meat and everything else any normal family eats. Not vegan. But the wife is a homemaker and she does prefer (does NOT mandate) a more-so vegetarian heavy diet for the family.

If you don't want to do that, don't drink cows milk.

Uh, or just don't drink like 30 gallons a day of it? I'm pretty 8-12 ozs a day isn't turning anyone into a 700 lb cow.

Calves drink 9 pints a day and are done with cows milk at 10 weeks.

Depends. Moat people in my family have various skin problems that slowly clears up when each of us has stopped drinking milk. Not everyone or every family reacts well to it. Wish I had figured it out earlier, because I suffered from horrible acne, until age 35, that cleared after being off dairy for six months.

How is that non-sense - can you provide an example of another species that consumes a different species milk?

Cows are made to eat grass. Humans can't eat grass. But we can drink cow's milk and eat cheese and butter.

If it were that, they could just buy milk from a farmer that doesn't use hormones.

Humans can do lots of things. Doesn't mean that we need to or should.

Uhh... the obesity rates in America tell a different story.
