What about all his fine work with Jello? Does that count for nothing? #Injustice.

Not sad because of the guilty verdict. He clearly deserves it. I am certain he will serve time. There is no way he won’t with the charges. I feel deeply for his victims. They deserve justice.

It is sad because he was such an icon - the wonderful father on the Cosby show... the jello guy.... someone who spoke hard truths to the black community. And, the death of his son, which was tragic. It is sad because I feel duped by his onscreen persona.

Thank you for putting into words how many of us feel. His actions are horrifying but there is a real sense of loss of someone we thought of as "America's Dad."

You f'king idiots. He was an ACTOR. He was paid do "pretend". TV is NOT real!!

He was listed as one of the top black philanthropists several years ago. He has given millions to historically black colleges and donated to a multitude of other charities.
This in no way makes up for his crimes, but you need to understand why so many people are struggling with his conviction.
He did some absolutely horrible things. And now that these things are out in the open, it is upsetting to try to understand how a man who seems so giving could be so evil.

This will probably kill him. How old is he now?

If you mean the controversial Jell-o for Salads(tm) roll out, that product line was cancelled quickly. #Fairness

He's 80 years old. Does he even remember commiting these crimes? That is a serious question.

I am sure his d*ck remember every cave.

He will appeal. Given his age and the fact that he isn't a flight risk (because he's a recognizable celebrity), he will be put on house arrest pending appeal. I'll be shocked if he sets foot in lock up.

I'm still not sure this is a win for women. Cosby's behavior doesn't seem all that different than that which was common around rock concerts in the 1970s. There are many more worthy and clear cut cases of abuse and harassment, just not ones as sure to make headlines. I think the questionable character of his accusers (Janice Dickinson, et. al) will make it harder for honest victims to get justice. I also think there have been questionable decisions from the bench that will result in the verdict being overthrown on appeal.

I feel bad for Cosby's wife. What a nightmare for her.

I LOVED the Cosby show. LOVED IT. But he is one filthy nasty man.

Unfortunately he can't be given a sentence that reflects all the rapes he committed, just the one they were able to try & convict him for tried for. The knowledge that he is almost certainly a serial rapist, not a one time offender, will may very well help motive the judge to hand down the maximum sentence for that one rape, however.

Yea, no. She has defended and vilified his accusers for years. She’s a POS.

I'm guessing she wasn't a part of any of this. The side she saw of him was not the same man that his accusers saw.

She didn’t have to be a rapist to be a part of this. Where there is smoke there is fire. And there was YEARS of fire around Cosby. She is no different than Dottie Sandusky. But keep burying your head in the sand and defending her.
