Have you spent time in a multi-ethnic society? People look out for "their own" first and act as well vote accordingly. Those societies are either violent, or require a lot of authoritarianism to keep things in check. |
| Well, 95% of blacks voted for Obama because he is black, so I guess you have a point. |
No, asians tend to do quite well here. I imagine should the US have a larger "brown" population, the economic factors and stability factors that co-inside with a European derived population (basically the things that make western countries desireable like rule of law and low corruption) will lessen and the will choose other places to immigrate too. |
At least try to hide your racism. |
Yeah, I've lived in the UK, which is pretty multi-ethnic. Though, at the time, the violence was coming from "their own", i.e., citizens of the UK. It's not multi-ethnic society that cause trouble, it's discrimination. I can't think of any or time place where discrimination didn't lead to violence. |
No need too, not all racial groups are the same when it comes to ability. Not all cultures value the same traits. For example some cultures creately value cooperation, some do not trust each other. Some racial groups have different levels of future time orientation and impulse control. Hence ability could mean both cultural traits for economic or political success as well as other characteristics. |
Don't your kind meet in someone's basement on Friday nights to help you forget you've got nothing else to do? |
Thats the rub, when you have a multi-ethnic society, people tend to discriminate against the minority. It's not an argument for ethnic cleansing, just a recognition of what tends to happen. |
You don't disagree? Europeans for example have a number of different cultural attributes. Northern Europeans tend to have higher trust socieites and low tolerance for corruption. Southern Europeans tend to have lower trust societies and have a higher tolerance for corruption. Outside of perhaps the Japanese, most other non-Western nations have a much higher tolerance for corruption, and less stable societes. Take China, they largely have the same genes as the Japanese (who were heavily influenced by the Chinese), but their culture is very much a low trust one. It is interesting to note that in South America, countries with higher percentages of European derived populations have more stable societies and are more economically prosperous with lower rates of crime. This could be genetic or it could be cultural, beats me as to which it is. |
Oh right. We're back to Things That Scare White People Like You. You might get discriminated against. boogetyboogety Feel better. It's not because you're white. It's because you're dumb. |
| It’s okay, guys, trump is president. Casual racism is totally cool. Again, you are all pathetic and are probably overweight, pasty, coal miners who are angry at Mexicans for “tekin’ your jerb”, when in actuality machines or natural gas production are the real culprits. You are free to continue projecting your own shortcomings. And again the only constant is change, in this case that change is demographic. Suck it up, snowflakes. Or die of heart attacks. It doesn’t matter. |
People will always find a way to divide and discriminate. If it isn't by race, it will be based on wealth. They'll establish a caste system. Or nobility. Every European country did that quite well. Some have titles, some don't. Kids do it quite well, too. Perhaps it's programmed in the human brain to establish "us and them." |
Were blacks the minority in South Africa? |
Trump sure as hell doesn't want anyone outdoing him in corruption and instability. We'll show them how it's done in the West! The MOST unstable - just you wait. |
No, she's not. (For example, have you heard her advocate nationalizing the means of production?) Please consider expanding your horizons. |
