The "Browning of America"

Reading the above exchange, it just occurred to me: We have liberals accusing conservatives of trying to keep out brown people but then we also have brown people, such as the PP, saying that once brown people become the majority, they will make whites suffer or otherwise punish them.

So think about it. Wouldn't brown people threatening whites make the whites more determined to keep them in a minority status (assuming for the sake of argument that that's what they're doing)? If I really believed that brown people are waiting in the wings to make people with my skin color suffer as soon as they have majority status, well.....then I wouldn't want any more brown people here. I don't want to be made to suffer.

I have heard several PPs make this threat before (on DCUM) and it makes me wonder if it's a common dream - a hatred of whites and a desire to hurt them. I'm hoping it's one deranged PP rather than multiples.

There have been stated threats elsewhere on this forum about "payback" time once whites are not the majority, so perhaps I read too much into your post. That does tell me, though, that there are other POC who HAVE made threats against whites, which is ironic coming from people who seek policies to right past wrongs.

I don't have a problem with 'browning' but the type of people we should be wanting are people from very high HDI countries (above .8) with low gini coefficients.

Finland would be a perfect example.

Norway, Belgium, Sweden, Slovenia, iceland, czechia, netherlands, etc.

Measurable metrics should be used - not race, ethnicity, religion, etc.

White people will be the biggest group of people in the US for the next 100 years. Many people are confusing no longer a majority with being a non relevant minority group. Do you really think 12% of the population will make 48% of the population suffer/pay? LOL. The fastest growing “group” is Hispanic and they are by no means a homogenous group.
