So I'm thinking about all the times as a teenager I snuck my girlfriend into the house and had sex with her, and we had to be super-quiet so my parents wouldn't hear. But maybe they really did. I know I didn't give a single thought to their sex life but they must have gotten it done somehow.

We always tried to be quiet and we were lucky that our MBR was about 30ft or so away from our kids rooms. But I am clueless if they ever heard us! We certainly closed our door and probably locked it. I do recall that when we closed the door one or more of our cats would often scratch at the door in the middle of our going at it. No one likes to think of their parents having sex (gross!) but I'm pretty sure my millennial kids have a pretty good sense that my DW and I are still very affectionate.
