As a woman, what rights will be taken away and how?

All I can say is... thank god there's not going to be a paid family leave / maternity leave law enacted. I'm so sick of paying for other people and could use the tax break.

Abortion is very unlikely to become illegal. There is no way to enforce it. It would still obviously have to be legal for rape victims to get abortions (most conservatives agree with that). So then women would just say they were the victim of rape, and even if there was an investigation and legal action to determine if it really was rape, by the time that is done it would become a late term abortion. Which nobody wants, aborting an embryo early on is much more humane than aborting a fetus (not to mention the ethics of allowing a pregnancy to continue in rape victims while they figure out if it really is rape).

Planned Parenthood wouldn't be defunded because of abortions, it's because they broke the law. If you listen to the full audio, not just clips, it's pretty clear what they were up to, and it's illegal to perform an abortion in a way that preserves organs (and is less humane).

They aren't going to take birth control away. If men are really running the show, wouldn't they want women on it so they can sleep around and not have a bunch of kids running around? Plus, they would also have to make vasectomies illegal, since that is also birth control.

You think they'd make vasectomies illegal just because they stripped rights of women to have abortions? No way. That would be equal rights, which they are against.

Some people have very short memories. Birth control was once illegal in this county. the Supreme Court gave married couples the right to use birth control in 1965. Unmarried people got the legal right in 1972.

It might have been a desperate grab for religious votes but the big concern is no one really knows what Trump thinks or it planning. Pence does not believe abortion should be a woman's choice even in cases of rape or incest. Must be nice to be able to make decisions on other people's bodies. I'll try to find the letter.
