| Not going to happen-- sorry. Airports shutdown Friday pm to Sunday am, at best |
| I love my husband! But wtf is wrong them? |
If you are worried about your battery running out, do everything you can to keep it from draining (cut off all applications, cut off location services, etc., do a search on the web now how to do this, things like location services drain away the battery even when you aren't actively using it). Or even just cut the phone off unless you absolutely need it. Doing this should keep an iPhone battery for a few days. |
| If he comes back on Saturday, he is no doubt having an affair locally. |
PP here, that should read 1/2 an inch, one half an inch is what my husband says we are getting, it's because NWS reported yesterday that is all we will get on Friday and wouldn't commit to an accumulation total whatsoever. But this morning they finally did, 22-28 inches, but DH won't accept it. |

Unless he has a magical plane, landing at a magical airport and taking a dog sled home, he will not be home Sat or Sun morning/afternoon. If he is lucky and has booked a Sun evening flight now, he might be home by then.
And you have today and tomorrow morning to get the stuff you need. |
| My husband and I are nude sunbathing in our backyard on Saturday. |
| PS- charge your phone in your car if your power goes out. |
| Let him know that it's great that he's coming home on Saturday, however, you will be accepting your Nobel Prize in Oslo so the house might be in a bit of a shambles. |
This will be the biggest "I told you so" ever, when he's stuck somewhere for days. Get some wine and watch the fun. Report back! |
| Mine is supposed to land Friday night 7pm. I'm going to be on my own for this one. |
OP, this is a good time for you to learn how to handle an emergency weather situation without your husband's professional assistance. The Red Cross has a guide here: http://www.redcross.org/prepare/disaster/winter-storm. Some of these things seem a little bit excessive to me. You don't need to find copies of personal documents, for example, since you're not evacuating your home, but do make sure that you and your kids have winter weather clothing and if you have pets, make sure that you have enough food for them as well. It's really not that complicated, and you can buy jugs of water yourself. |
| You will live. Go to Best Buy and get a charger if you need to. They usually have them at CVS. Shovel early and often. With heavy snow you don't want to wait until it's over. I do the shoveling at our house. If it's too much then hire a neighborhood teen. You don't need to buy water, just fill a few pitchers if the water really does go out. |
I mean, if it weren't so funny I would think he is the stupidest man alive. I am not the OP, but my husband with his 1/2 inch total accumulation prediction may just win a Darwin Award. |
I'll be swimming in my pool and drinking icy cold margaritas! |
