This is v good advice. Thank you. He claims sat afternoon is when "the heavy part" will be over and is somehow an opening. Hmmm.

Your husband is delusional.

+1 He might get as close as Cleveland.

+1 Tuesday sounds about right.

My boss is flying back from LA. We had him at a flight leaving tomorrow morning that was supposed to get in mid-afternoon and that flight was just canceled. Everything is filling up or insanely expensive.

Your husband needs to be realistic. This isn't a drill.

I agree. The funny thing was he was only coming for the weekend before leaving for another trip. So, there's really no need for him to try for Monday or Tuesday I guess. We actually really don't see each other much, which I accept, but a lot of emotions came up this morning looking for the charger. Which I found by the way, but have no idea how to use.

I'm in a similar boat with my husbands work this week. He changed his flight to come home Sunday night so he actually has a seat and is not fighting with oodles of other people on cancelled flights to get one.

Now it's "noon" tomorrow. Thoughts?

Good luck with that.

DH is a physician and on call this weekend. He had to sleep by the hospital. DH is only 15 miles away and thought he could drive home this morning. Now he doesn't think he will get home until Sunday evening. No way your DH is flying in Sunday at noon.

You called it. His flight just got cancelled. He's surprised!
