| Who cares about other people's hair. I don't. Not my business. |
Ditto. Two of the black women in my office wear wigs. (I only know this because they told me -- i am white and had no clue.) One wears the same wig every day. The other changes her hair style every two or three days. They both look great. The third black woman wears her hair close-cropped to her head. I think it's her own, but what do I know. She looks terrific. But if they didn't look great, I still wouldn't care. Not my hair, not my business. |

I'm not from this country and know nothing about African American hair. Until recently I had been surprised that some women's hair were so long I suppose the really long hair is often (but not always!) fake. It doesn't look bad to me, though...

This plus look if you look at the services of the top salons in DC you'll see they all offer some form of extensions. |

Women of all races are free to do whatever they want with their hair, including buy new hair.
Ironically, the year in college that I quit relaxing my kinky AA hair, my roommate was a white Jewish girl who relaxed her own curls with the same product that I had just stopped using. |
| Most black women I know have fabulous hair. Doesnt matter to me how they get it that way |
Absolutely false. Go to any high end white salon, white women everywhere getting $500-$1000 weaves. Go to any DC nightclub, almost any white girl 22-30 has clip ins or sew ins. OP you are being a racist bitch. |
I can't think of any white woman in our school, neighborhood, group of friends, gym- who have weaves. I honestly don't think I know of a single white woman who has this. Maybe it's popular with younger crowd and I don't see it b/c I'm not hanging out in clubs (although I wouldn't think that women in their 20s have $500-1000 to spend on their hair). Very few white woman over a certain age even have long hair. I know several black women who wear wigs- I know this because in some cases it's obvious, in others their hair grows/changes overnight otherwise I wouldn't notice b/c it's natural looking. It's not a bad thing or something I look down on at all- just an observation. |
Thanks to my highlights, I spent quite a bit of time in top salons. I have never seen them putting extensions in someone's hair. |
My nanny is in this age group and has had extensions for months. She's Brooklyn Italian. |
That's because if it's done well you won't know it doesn't mean they don't have it. |
Do you get your hair highlighted every day or every other day? Once a week? Are you really there enough to see all the service being provided to all of the customers? Also a lot of the weave and extension work goes on in private rooms. |

Boo if you don't think white and Asian women are getting weaves up the wazoo (and not just celebrities) you are wildly out of touch, oh and you're racist!

NOBODY would guess pic #15 is a weave!!

| I guess you've never seen a phony pony kiosk in a mall either. Black women aren't the ones who patronize them. |
