Men don't really prefer younger women

IDK. I am a bi lady, but I frequently match on Tinder with younger women, like a lot of 18 year olds. (I tend to swipe left on any attractive person, and deal with the logistics later)

I have to say, even though I’m only 27, the under 25 crowd doesnt hold a lot of interest for me. I’m much more down for a woman that actually can hold a conversation, has cool interests, is mature and past that stage in her life.

Not to mention the vast majority of 18 year olds look about 14 to me, which I find incredibly creepy.

Now, this is not the case for all 18 year olds, or 18-25 year olds, of course. Just has been my experience/preference.

On the other hand, I have seen plenty of attractive women in their 30s and I am so much more apt to swipe left. Women generally do a better job taking care of themselves than men, so they usually look great. And you can just see such a vibrancy there, a confidence that comes with age.

it really is remarkable the difference that comes with age. I can see why so many men are drawn to it, and why many others are intimidated by it. A powerful woman is a force to behold.

And FWIW- I am NEVER attracted to men who are older than me. I think, in general, women age much better than men, so it’s not as noticeable. That’s probably why.

OP. Here. I'm talking about a man establishing a loving long term relationship here. Men or women, for that matter, both agree that young fertile women are the most physically attractive. Even if a man most certainly finds a young woman attractive, and even if he has an extramarital affair with her, it does not mean that the two will always subsequently embark on a new relationship. We see men cheating with (sometimes) younger women as a way out of their marriage. They do not always embark on a new relationship with the affair partner.

What's your point? That doesn't change anything I said, which is that MANY men do have affairs with younger woman. I never said they always do lol. Obv some men do prefer younger woman. And they are not such a small minority that somebody can say " men don't prefer younger woman"

Do you understand how tinder works? You can swipe left on absolutely anyone, and you only "match" with them if they also swipe left on you.
There's not as many options for same sex pairings, so I am more liberal with my swiping, and swipe left on anyone I find attractive.

However, once I match with 18 year olds, I am always creeped out by how very young they look, especially further going through their pics.

OP here. I was just examining the trope that all rich and powerful men want and lust after nubile young 21 year olds. I'm trying to say that even most men find young girls very attractive, the logistics of life and society and interpersonal chemistry do not always arrange for a partnership between an older powerful male and a young attractive girl. Many powerful men build lasting relationships with women closer to their own age.

Oh I agree with you, I just feel that it works both ways. I don't think there is a preference in either direction. It might be skewed a bit because many of these men marry young to begin with if they divorced and remarried now it's hard to say they wouldn't pick a younger woman. Clooney is a great example of that. Either way plenty of people marry within their respective age range. But there are outliers on either side

I think some men like women who are older than them, and some men like women who are the same age as they are and some men like women who are younger than them. I don't think there is a trend any particular way.

Actually liking underage girls is not illegal, acting on those feelings would be illegal. But didn't the PP you are responding to already say that it is sick? Or are you just reaffirming what they already said?
