Yeah when couples grow old together even when the woman is old and wrinkly there is a higher possibility the guy looks at her and see the young woman he fell in love with. There is also the history the couple has with each other that strengthens the bond.
When there is no such history the single guy would go for the younger woman, no rose googles on.
