| I think part of why MV list is moving is because people with good WL numbers at MV often already got into a great school (like IT). Also people can't hold multiple slots so the lists really move because people have to turn down MV instead of holding two slots. |
| OP, we are in the exact same situation...same schools, same ranking, but we are a few numbers behind you on the Mundo Verde wait list (as in a slightly worse number). And we are torn too... I almost felt as though I wrote your posts. |
| We started around 125 for PK4 and I think we are 69 now. |
This |
| My MV WL number for PK4 started in the 120s and has moved at least 60 spaces. |
Me too. I wish! |
| Mine has moved 48 spaces for PK3. |
| Wow! |
WTF does that mean? Snooty booty. |
|
Speculation requested: we are currently in the low 50's for PK3, do we have a shot??
Thanks for your thoughts! |
Where did you start off? |
PP - we started off in the low 80's. |
|
OP HERE
oh lordy... just checked on myschooldc and i'm in slot #6 for mundo verde

If you are in 50s now for PK3? Doubt you will get in. As stated, there were more ECE classrooms opened- hence the movement.
Now the shifts are coming more from people changing from IT/Yu Ying/other charters and giving up or taking a MV slot. There won't be more entire classroom spaces added at this time. |
| Does anyone know what the prospects are for someone who had an original waitlist number of 17 for 3rd grade? I'm trying to help a neighbor. She thinks she doesn't have a chance and didn't know to check to see if her number had changed. Thanks! |
