I agree. I find tattoos low class.

So don't get one.

I haven't and I won't and I will continue to have an opinion on the matter.

Why does it matter to you at all what's on someone else's body as long as they're not asking you to put it on yours?

What does it matter that someone doesn't like tattoos?

This can go round and round all day.

Why go through the pain and permanence of a tattoo. Just write all over yourself with Sharpies.

Well, the people who don't like tattoos are
a) telling other people they should stop getting tattoos on their own body, and
b) judging people who get tattoos for being "trashy". WTH? I didn't know people could be 'trash'. Interesting attitude.

The people who do like tattoos do not seem to be either
c) telling everyone they must get one, or
d) saying everyone without a tattoo is somehow inferior/worthless/messed up/bad.

See the difference?

I ask again, why do you care enough to do a and b above?

Love tats, already thinking about my next one..

I think a full sleave on a woman is overkill but hey, to each her own..

Everyone judges everyone else. You judge people. If you say you don't you are a liar. Yes, people can be trash. They can be trashy, they can be low class and they can be messed up enough to disfigure their body with a jumble of permanent scribbles. Or gouging giant holes in their ears or scarring up their bodies. Go ahead and judge me for saying that - I will wait.

The people who do like tattoos do not seem to be either
c) telling everyone they must get one, or

Some might, some might not. See my answer to A.

d) saying everyone without a tattoo is somehow inferior/worthless/messed up/bad.
But they surely judge people for other things. See my answer to B

See the difference?
Yes but I don't care about PC millenial BS, nor do I get in a kerfuffle over an opinion on an anonymous message board.

I ask again, why do you care enough to do a and b above

Again, I don't do A and everyone does B, it is human nature.

Any more questions?

Wow, someone needs a drink or to be laid. Or both.

Until you become god (and I'm atheist, so I say that with a grain of salt) calm the eff down and worry about your own life and your own body.

Oh and I hope you're a looker, cause if not someone is judging you for being just ugly looking.

If you are the OP you most certainly have. Your thread is "when will this die?" meaning "when will this stop" meaning you are telling people they should stop getting tattoos. You want people to stop doing something to their own body because YOU don't like it. My point was, I think it's healthier and a more appropriate course of action to worry about things that involve your own body, let other people worry about theirs, and stop trying to assert some sort of right or even desire to make decisions for other people's bodies. That's odd and rather controlling of you.

If you are not the OP, I apologize for misinterpreting who you were and thus misrepresenting your position.

I'm done with this thread now; it's utterly ridiculous to spend so much time having a mean, judgmental attitude towards people for having tattoos or any other appearance-related choice. I won't spend my time legitimizing this anymore. I don't think anyone is trashy, ever, and I think most people's choices are personal and equally valid as long as they are neither harmful to others nor mean-spirited.

Because it is taxing to my day to have to look at fugly people displaying their childhood trauma all over their bodies

Do you know what is taxing to my day? Having to look at brittle, semi-anorexic women with their brittle, over-bleached blonde hair, in their big black SUVs. Talk about fugly, inside and out. Every other woman I see in this area fits the bill. Give me tattoos any day.

Not brittle, not semi anorexic, not blonde, mostly drive my coupe but my SUV isn't black ... and I don't have tattoos. Yay, go me!

How did the person say that?

If you're saying avoiding tattoos is the Christian choice or the typical Republican preference...ok cool. Sounds to me like no one is going to care what someone doesn't put on their body...as long as they're leaving others alone about what they do put on theirs.

Makes sense to me.

Usually people who are extremely liberal and demanding of tolerance are hypocritical in their views about republicans or christians or whatever other group their deem to be "privledged"
