+100. I feel sad for him. |
Was he noble when he lied on the airport screening form prior to comming to the U.S.? Was he noble when he failed to tell the hospital during his 1st visit where he had been and what he had done? Was he noble when he returned to the apartment, while sick, and exposed the 5 children from 4 different school systems to his Ebola symptoms? Sorry, he isn't a hero to me. |
Amen. The hatred directed at this man - this human being - disgusts me. |
He wanted to LIVE. |
Compassion and humanity are alive and well, I see. |
a lot of assumptions here. |
Perhaps you should refrain from trying a smear a dead man with accusations you can't prove. |
| I agree it's sad he died. But not any more sad than all the other people in west Africa who have died. This guy doesn't seem particularly heroic to me. But he shouldn't have died of a disease that we probably could've stopped if we'd actually gone over there and worked at it harder earlier. |
But they aren't assumptions. He knew he was exposed. He knew he was sick. He knew his symptoms were consistent with Ebola. He exposed his girlfriend and his child, among others. Those are facts. |
SO TRUE! I wonder if the global community has waited too long to stop this thing. We need to stop it at its source if at all possible |
he knew he was exposed? I don't think that is a fact |
Do your homework. This has not been established. |
| maybe people who want to bash the guy should start their own thread. |
Telegrams take a while to arrive. Be patient. |
| Don't you fools get it? He could have KILLED YOU and your whole family. He may still do so! He does not deserve your pity or compassion. |
