I hope people remember what this man did that resulted in his infection. He is dead today because he helped try to obtain medical care for a dying pregnant woman who was turned away from the hospital. He may or may not have known she had Ebola, but either way it was a pretty noble thing to do. What a tragedy.
Was he noble when he lied on the airport screening form prior to comming to the U.S.? Was he noble when he failed to tell the hospital during his 1st visit where he had been and what he had done? Was he noble when he returned to the apartment, while sick, and exposed the 5 children from 4 different school systems to his Ebola symptoms? Sorry, he isn't a hero to me.
a lot of assumptions here.
But they aren't assumptions. He knew he was exposed. He knew he was sick. He knew his symptoms were consistent with Ebola. He exposed his girlfriend and his child, among others. Those are facts.
