Same flavor family, though, especially with PP's suggestion of cocoa powder, too.

I'm pregnant and trying to think of some way to stay fuller a little bit longer in the mornings. It's either undereat slightly and get hungry/have a headache or eat what I think is a good amount and have nasty heartburn. Maybe coconut oil coffee can bridge the gap.

Just the title made me gag. Why not lard in coffee next?

Exactly, but without the sugar. I find it hilarious how many of you are fat phobic, but probably eat carbs like nobody's business. Healthy fats don't make you fat, but excess carbs certainly do.

And where did you find that treasure? The Coconut Creme has been my favorite for years.

Doesn't affect me that way. If it did, I might reconsider.

I drink "bulletproof coffee" every morning -- 1tbsp coconut oil and 1tbsp of Kerrygold grassfed butter. Blend it with my coffee using an immersion blender. Tastes like a delicious latte, and I'm full until lunchtime.

Getting over my fear of fat helped me lose weight I had struggled to lose on a strict "low fat, whole grains, yada yada" diet. Now I eat a mostly primal diet. I look better, I feel better, and I have more energy.

Thanks, but I get enough fat from Avocados, nuts, and various oils for cooking. No need to start slurping it up each morning.

Fat is not harmful, especially good fats.

You know that people put cream in their coffee and tea, which is loaded with fat? How is coconut oil any different?

No wonder there are so many fat asses

You probably think wheat bread is healthy.

Holy cow do some of you guys have bizarre hangups about food.

You need fat for nerve cells to transmit signals.

NP here. I'm surprised at the negative reactions from people who have not tried it. Not the usual food forum folks, maybe.

OP, thank you for volunteering this info. I'm an adventurous eater and so any tips that anyone has, I'm open to.

Fucking disgusting. A breakfast of coffee, oil, and animal fat.
