Jicama sliced with lime juice and chili powder. Not really off the beaten path as this is popular in many countries, but it is awesome.

Seriously? I've never met anybody else that has this obsession. People look at me strangely when I fill up my cart at Costco with the Palms but anyone who knows me knows about my little problem.
