| I drive a big vehicle, and it's much easier to back in, especially with the back camera. |
Typical entitled view. First, you have to have your big vehicle. Then you have to make others wait while you do something that's easiest for you. It's all about you. |
Because being forced to watch someone do this unnecessarily delays me. It's rude and obnoxious. My time is much more important than theirs, so who the fuck are they to make me wait? |
The one directly above is not OP. I already explained why I care. They almost never park in between the lines and in our parking lot it makes a huge difference. They frequently take up two spots because they don't know how to back in. They are most certainly not entitles to two spots just because they don't know how to park. Lastly, when I park and try to get my child out, their rearview mirror is at my back passanger door. I have to do all kinds of manuvering in order not to take their mirror off. THAT'S why I care!!!! |
| It's much safer to come out of a parking space going forward than to back out. Didn't everyone learn this in driver's ed? |
THen they should have also learned how to properly park in driver's ed. |
If you actually believe that, then, well, it sounds like you're getting a taste of your own medicine.
|
I see you're a little dense.
|
| Because backing out of a parking space is more dangerous, therefore I opt for the safer option of backing in to the space. |
How is it safer? I'm not buying that. Plus it's certainly not safer when it comes to comeone keying your car
|
| My dad was a firefighter and drove the fire engine, and he ALWAYS backs in and taught me to do the same. You're much more likely to see someone walking or another car coming if you pull out head first, while the likelihood of someone walking in your parking space as you back in is much lower. And of course, when you rob the bank, you can get away so much faster. |
Really?? It is OBVIOUSLY safer. When you are backing out of a space, you can't see cars coming on either side until you are halfway out of the space. If you are going to come out of the space forward, you can clearly see cars coming on either side. This is just common sense, folks. |
If people are taking up two spaces, then that is the issue. The issue is not backing in to the space. |
| Chipotle lady? |
WTH???? No! I was pissed from the beginning! |
