I have friends who are 6'+ and wear heels regularly and look amazing. Embrace your height, wear what you want (but be careful because mini dresses look even mini-ier at your height), and be confident. Tall women command attention and respect shorties like me don't get.

interesting response. and by "interesting," I mean "malicious."

You can not expect every post to be "it's ok, I wish I was your height, sure you are beautiful." negative.

True. Some posts are malicious.

OP, life is too short & too complicated to worry about your height. There's nothing you can do about it so just try to not be self conscious about it! Embrace it. Being tall can be great. I'm on the short side and I'm regularly in business meetings where I'm shorter than not only all the men but also many if not most of the women. I don't like having to look up at people when I speak to them in a professional setting! So I say own and celebrate your height.

I think you need to look up what trauma means.

well, you might want to consider changing your personality, if not your height.

People automatically see tall people as being stronger, smarter, more confident, etc. By all means, wear skirts and dresses and heels and start enjoying your height for the blessing that it really is.

I know it has many positives but heels is like a headache... I will try. Thank you

Anonymous wrote:OP, I'm not as tall as you (5'9) but I HATED my height until at least my mid-20s. All my friends in high school were 5'2 and I always felt like an oaf-like giant. Now (at age 42) I love it. It's great in a crowd! Although I probably obsess about my weight a bit, because if I gain a few pounds I just feel big and heavy (man-like). When I was younger I always wanted to be described as "cute", but I came to terms with that fact it would never happen.

Awww it's good to know that And yes! I totally agree. It's like I have to keep being thin lol. Thank you

But really OP; you'll be fine. I have female friends that are 6' tall. I know it sucks right now because you're 24, but own your height. Stand up straight, rock heels, and be confident. There's a reason why so many people think models are hot. Legs.For.Days.

Haha yes, I love my legs, too. Thank you

Embraced it. You have legs that go on forever, an extra 10 pounds won't make you look heavy, and only guys with self confidence find their way to you

That's so true. Thank you so much for the advice

Aw that's sweet, you are right.

Yes, but I think being short and not pretty doesn't look very attrative either. As being short is not synonymous of elegance.

Yes, that's a good advice, I have to be careful with those things. Thank you
