Energy costs are cheaper

My child has a real job in IT with health care because h1b was severely limited

Wages are up for low Wage workers because the overwhelming immigration was stopped

DEI was stopped allowing career growth based on merit , allowing my son to get a better job

No. My stock portfolio is up but it was up under Biden too. Federal income tax takes a huge chunk of my family’s hard earned money but Trump and the GOP just keep racking up the debt to fund things I don’t support while cutting funding for federal research and other things I do support. Meanwhile, the billionaires still aren’t paying their fair share. Tariffs and inflation are making everything more expensive, so much so that I notice it even with an HHI of close to 1 million. Trump has also managed to piss off our allies to the point that I’m not sure they are our allies anymore, and the dollar could lose its status as the global reserve currency.

I’m in my 50s, and Trump’s second term is easily the worst presidential term of my lifetime. Close seconds are Dubya’s second term and Carter.

The stock market is high because Trump has killed the dollar. It’s inflation, not returns.
