She has no way of knowing that.

She has friends at UVA who say that getting into clubs and extracurriculars is highly competitive. The campus is filled with Tracy Flicks who were all top of their class in high school and who expect to be #1. That’s great if you thrive in that environment, but my DD would not. She has joined lots of clubs and made friends at her school. She knows deep down that UVA would have been more difficult socially, for her personally. UVA is a great school, but not for everyone.

Would you mind sharing where she ended up?

Sometimes they only announce very shortly in advance. They could wait until Thurs night or Friday morning to say their plans.

Almost certainly this Friday unless for some reason the snow day Monday and delay Tuesday held up their usual process.

I’m sure the snow didn’t help. I hope they’ll consider Saturday if they aren’t ready for Friday. Would be really nice to have a day at home to process the info before school

This happened last year too! They didn’t post about decisions coming on Friday 12/13 until the day before (Thursday 12/12). It came late afternoon Thursday too! It’s coming…..
