Wegovy for me was $1000 a month. One coupon for $299 after my insurance stopped covering it.

Zepbound $500 a month.

People have more money than you do? This amount would not faze me in the least.

In case anyone is reluctant to go on a global-1, I had similar results with metformin. Woman, late 40s, 5’4, 149 down to 235 with diet modifications and moderate exercise. Went from diabetes range to prediabetic range. I want to improve my diet and exercise but will stay on metformin forever, as it also has other benefits.

Identical story op. I was 140 and now 116. I’m 5’1. It’s just freedom. I’ve always been very healthy.

Only side effect is nausea sometimes but it’s such a low grade nausea. Feels like I’m in the first tri of being pregnant. I’m also similarly tired.

Same. That amount is nominal to me. I’m spending $200 a month on compounded

$200/mo is very different from $1k per or even $500 per.

Metformin did absolutely nothing for me. Didn't even improve my blood sugar.

Same. The only reason it works for me is I can't eat. Not just food noise.

What dose are you on?

DP here, but wanted to chime in on your question. I'm using Mochi online.

I don't know what's wrong with me but it doesn't work that well for me. Any tips? I started at 210 in February and am now 180. I am 5'1" so I need to lose quite a bit more, but I have been stalled for about 4 months despite moving up to 10 mg. I never get sick from the medication, can still poop normally, etc. and can even eat greasy foods without issue (though I've only done that a few times in the past few months). Does the medication just not work past a certain point for people? I've really stepped up my exercise, go to orangetheory 3-4 times a week and peloton 2-3 days a week. I have a toddler who I'm constantly preparing food for. The food noise just hasn't really reduced by much since about three months in even after stepping up the medication. Any hints?

It is a miracle drug for me too. I lost 30 lbs and now I’m on a maintenance dose of 0.2 a week and have kept the weight off for 1.5 years. At the maintenance dose, I have a lot of energy and can workout 6 days a week. My workouts are mostly Pilates, yoga or lifting now. It’s the fittest I’ve felt since high school.

Same. On Moujaro or however you spell it for over a year. Haven’t lost any weight :/ but zero side effects and my fasting glucose is down from 120s where it was stuck for years to 80s.

Sadly now my insurance won’t pay for it so trying to figure out what to do.
