Semaglutide is seriously a miracle

I started compounded GLP-1 at the end of July at 145 lbs and 5’1” — the heaviest I’d ever been in my life. Today I weighed in at 122, which I haven’t seen since college. I have PCOS, hashimotos, and was pre diabetic. I’m so thrilled.

I just had to share. I was scared to go on it but side effects have been minimal and the effects are truly unprecedented for me

It ended my lifelong calorie counting. It’s given me so much freedom from thinking about food. I couldn’t be happier.

It's like meth or other weight loss drugs. Just because you dropped some weight doesn't mean you are healthy yet.

That's only part of it. If you are pre-diabetic at that weight, then you have to change your diet and activity levels.

Well it bears repeating, even if you already knew, as some might not realize that being healthy is more than just what the scale says you have lost.

OP, can you share what provider or route you went for compounded? I really want to move forward with it. I also have PCOS and in perimenopause for several years, weight just will not shift. Thanks! And best to you in your path!

It worked way better for you than me. I lost 4 lbs and it made me so sick I could not function.

Oh FFS. Do you go around pointing out the obvious to everyone you know? I'm guessing people do not like you.

Congrats. I've been on Wegovy for about a year and a half. I've lost about 75 pounds and gone from an obese bmi to a "normal" one. Fixed my sleep apnea, knee pain, borderline pre-diabetes A1C, and skin issues.

It was an incredibly painful way for me to lose weight. It worked, was I was sick 3 days a week.

Is irrational anger a side effect of the drug?

I completely agree! I’ve been on compound tirz for 2 months and already see a big difference not only with my weight (down 14 pounds!!), but also with my labs. It really feels like a miracle.

Did you go off of it?

How do people afford these?

Wegovy for me was $1000 a month. One coupon for $299 after my insurance stopped covering it.

Zepbound $500 a month.

This. I could just take adderall, but it’s a controlled substance.
