2) Private Schools (hell hath no fury like those paying $40k a year)
3) Money and Finance--most of the posts are so stupid,
(ex: I am poor even though I earn 800K a year), I have to think people are just trolling.

Sometimes I’m surprised by what gets deleted or locked, eg it seems fairly innocuous. I recall being really interested in this thread on traveling to India (I was thinking about a trip) and it was locked because someone was posting about safety for women travelers. But other times it seems like there are really disruptive and aggressive posters who don’t seem to be restricted at all. I often wonder if some of the nasty posts are from the same poster as there are a few who seem to have a telling posting ‘style’, but who knows?

If it isn’t reported, the moderator probably never sees it. If you report the disruptive and aggressive posts, they typically disappear.

I think there are a bunch of babies on here who report things that hurt their thin skin when they can just click away. I've seen it in interesting discussions like you mention, PP.

I don't know, but I love it when the Book Forum and the Food Forum gets spicy. It's like, really, the calmest, happiest topics and someone's gotta come in and bring their Type A BS?
