Whether or not you believe BOTH sides do it, why do you want the gov on EITHER side to reveal your personal data?

Seriously asking, because I dont want a quasi governmental agency to have my personal info.

Utilizing data for government purposes isn’t revealing data.

"Once again the this court dons its emergency responder gear, rushes to the scene , and uses its equitable power to fan the flames rather than extinguish them," Jackson wrote.

"With today's decision, it seems as if the court has truly lost its moorings," she said. In the process, she added, the court is creating "grave privacy risks for millions of Americans."

Trump's corrupt court at it again.

They know DOGE will lose the case on its merits, so they are allowing DOGE to steal the data now so they can say "oopsie!" later.

Sending it off to Russia is.

Isn't DOGE Elon's baby?
And Elon is Trump's newest sworn enemy?

It would be funny to see Elon and Big Balls weaponize DOGE against Trump.

Targeted? Weaponized?

Hol up a sec. We're talking about organizations applying for non-profit tax exemptions. The 501(c) law says that inherently political orgs aren't supposed to be eligible for tax exempt status. We're talking about orgs with things like "Tea Party" right in the name. The correct answer should have been to deny them outright. And those orgs were wrong to even apply in the first place. What Lois Lerner did was to dither and delay when the action should have been clear. "Weaponized" and "targeted" are such a dishonest and ludicrous misrepresentation.

Stop doxxing them.

Did people on the left start with doxxing judges in 2018? Because that is when the right started doing it.

All along its goal was to gain access to critical government information and personal data to sell it off to the highest bidder.

Targeted and weaponized are the terms misused by MAGA morons when people in the government ACTUALLY try to stop fraud, waste, etc by the GOP and their vile supporters. In their upside down world, good people obeying/following the law are "weaponizing" it while Trump can be as corrupt as he wants in plain sight and actually weaponize the DOJ and government for his own vengeance and personal gain. Disgusting and deplorable complete lack of ethics, morals, or decency.

The Supreme Court on Friday lifted a lower court order blocking the Social Security Administration from granting access to the agency’s sensitive data to affiliates of the Department of Government Efficiency.

The court separately paused a lower court’s order that required DOGE to turn over documents as part of a lawsuit claiming the entity, like other government agencies, should be subject to federal records requests.

You understand this isn't a win for you, right? MAGA or not, this decision is a loss for you.

MAGA are always cheering against themselves and too uneducated to realize it.

Government workers are not guaranteed anonymity. In fact, it's a point of note that you can look these things up.

Because, you know, they work for us.

Please read this story -

Everyone who has interacted with Social Security - including kids whose only interaction is getting a Social Security number - should be concerned about the Supreme Court's action.
The lower court and appeals court put reasonable limits on how much individual, identifiable personal data the DOGE bros could get to put into their AI model. Then the Supreme Court jumped in ahead of schedule and just gave them everything, no questions asked, and even said in a separate ruling that the public can't get info through FOIA about what these dudes are up to with our bank account numbers, Social Security numbers, medical histories, work and pay history, etc.
Is it just that the justices don't have the know-how to understand what they're giving away?
This is an abrupt change from the way the govt in all other Republican and Dem administrations tried to respect our privacy. In the past, all other administrations tried to protect our info from being manipulated or monitored or stolen by anything from an AI model to a billionaire interested for personal reasons to a cybercriminal to China and Russia.
As Social Security Works said: No one in history -- no commissioner, no president, no one -- has ever had the access that these DOGE minions have.

Democrats really don't want anyone looking into these payments for fraud.

Seriously.

How are you so impossibly ignorant?
