All Trump and Vance have to do is claim they're trying to stop "waste, fraud and abuse." Then the public will overlook the government overreach and let the administration get away with anything, without understanding that what's going on has little to do with actually trying to stop fraud. (Remember that Trump fired many of the people who actually are competent at finding fraud, like IGs).
Some consumers who don't realize what's happening are even OK with giving our most closely held government secrets to Palantir and Elon Musk's companies - which, of course, gives those companies power and leverage.

Every time something like this happens we let the perpetrators off way too easy. The confederates, the J6ers, all of the traitors throughout history. If we get the country back the punishments need to be severe enough to be a deterrent. Let’s start with finishing up those election investigations and finding out if results were manipulated.
