It's really lame that some speakers are at multiple schools. Idk why Blair has speakers who are not bigger stars. It has a connected community and alumni network. Why a speaker who is also speaking at a nearby school and a local politician at that?

Donald Trump should’ve been one of the speakers, JD Vance at least.

It's totally normal for politicians to make graduation speeches. That's who's willing to give them, frankly. Most people don't want to.

The MCPS ones are kinda lame, though. If I had known who was going to speak at my kid's high school I would have volunteered to try to find someone better.

My kid graduated from BCC a few years ago. The speaker was someone from the council of one of the incorporated areas of Chevy Chase - the Town of or Village of. She talked about her struggles with depression despite growing up in wealthy CC and going to an Ivy League school. It was so incredibly tone deaf.

Better to have no speaker than to have that.

She was asked to speak and probably told her story.

No he would not

He is one sided and that is not good
He loves to spew his one sided BS and claim he promotes both sides.
His support of Esther Wells tells you Jason is not “moderate” nor is his “news” .
It is extremely obvious Jason isn’t news he’s promoting propaganda. He cherry picks his so called news as well .
