Trump vs. W Bush

Anonymous
No way, Trump way worse and reaction far more extreme.

Bush at least had basic decorum and professionalism. Trump talked about Haitians eating pets during a debate. It was also the last time I decided I would allow myself to hear his voice again, I was so disgusted.

GW was a bad president, but he wasn’t a traitorous waste of skin.

He was literally called Hitler at every opportunity. He’s also a war criminal.

They’re both war criminals, but only one is a traitor.

You're just a radical.

Agreed. Trump stands alone. He is in an entirely different category: upending our democracy, grifting every chance he gets, and laying waste to programs that help people here and save lives worldwide.

I’m more horrified by how weak and timid Republicans have gotten. They see him trashing the constitution, destroying the economy, putting unqualified donors in positions they have no business being in. Trump is a failed car salesman, corrupt his whole life. But Republicans? All those over 60 year old White politicians cowering in their offices.

Trump, Bush, Reagan were all called Hitler and had protests constantly. I remember under Bush, they had activists in the streets not even letting ambulances through. And this was before 9/11 and Iraq.

Yes, it's truly disgusting seeing all those senators so afraid of Trump and their Trump-supporting constituents. Hopefully there will be payback for them soon.

No, Trump= Peace Maker vs Bush =War Maker

Yeah, uh huh.

I know, what a crock of crap. What do you call threatening your allies with “join us” or annexation?

Bush made a terrible mistake invading Iraq. And his financial deregulation directly led to the collapse in 2008. But he wasn’t evil. I think he’s a genuinely good man who was in way over his head after 9/11.

Whereas Trump is pure evil

I don't know how anyone can think someone who wiped out so many innocents cannot be evil.

Yes, and with each successive election we learned that it really could get exponentially worse.

Hell no. The bushes were real politicians, educated and honorable to the constitution. They weren’t perfect, but they were absolutely worlds above the trumpet. We have never had anyone even remotely like this in office, ever. It’s a disaster in every way. I’d love to see a real republican in office, not this charlatan.

Oh, there will be hell to pay. The republicans who want to preserve their dignity need to peel away from the maga party and fast.

There is absolutely no comparison between Trump and Biden and all the presidents who came before them. By far the worst two POTUSs ever and Trump is by far worse than Biden due to his lack of integrity.

Hey stupid American voters, remember when we knew better than to elect 80 year old people to perform the most demanding job on the planet and remember when integrity was something we demanded in a POTUS?

Every time a new Republican comes along.
"This guy is evil and dumb."
"This guy is so much worse than that guy. The last guy was actually reasonable. He was pretty bright and sophisticated."

They went from saying Romney isn't one of us(literally a campaign ad) to wishing he were the President.

There will be another guy that comes along and liberals will be saying Trump was actually a good guy.
