There’s only one way to solve this.

This restaurant only buys meat that has been processed by Muslims. |
The meat is certified as halal. Is that a problem for you? Do you have a problem with kosher restaurants? Ever have lamb chops from Outback? Or how about a burger from Elevation burger? Any problem with those places? |
And? So? |
It means non-Muslims are discriminated against. These meatpacking companies are refusing to hire non-Muslims for the cutting and the slaughter. |
I'm not familiar with the rules for Kosher. If they are banning Jews from hiring, then yes I have a problem. My understanding is that halal meat is automatically kosher. |
Is the other way around, Muslim people can eat kosher |
Can you provide a link about the discrimination? The slaughter of the meat has to be done by a Muslim in order to be zabihah (referred to halal in this case). I have not heard of anything regarding banning non Muslims from other positions at the companies. I am not Jewish, but I believe similarly in order to be kosher, the person doing the slaughter has to be Jewish. |
I saw in a shop that the meat was certified in accordance with sharia law and hand cut by Muslims. |
This is a fight I can get behind. Dunkin forever. |
The kosher food would not be halal as the animal is likely killed by a non-Muslim, and likely killed without a ritual Muslim chant. Kosher food is similarly supposed to be killed with a swift cut, overseen by a person of piety following religious ritual. It is not clear if this requires the person be Jewish though. |
Isn’t halal food essentially like Kosher food? |
Muslims are allowed to eat kosher because it is in the Qur’an that meat from Jews and Christians are permitted. It is “halal” but not zabihah, which refers to the Islamic practice of hand slaughter and reciting before the slaughter. |
How is that discriminatory? Are you the pp that said the companies refused to hire non Muslims? There is a disagreement among Muslims as to whether meat that is not hand slaughtered is halal. Some Muslims are very careful about eating only hand slaughtered meat. The actual cutting after the animal has died does not need to be done by a Muslim, just the initial cut that kills the animal. |
This is not true. As a Muslim, I was always taught that kosher meat was okay to eat. |
