This restaurant only buys meat that has been processed by Muslims.
And? So?
It means non-Muslims are discriminated against. These meatpacking companies are refusing to hire non-Muslims for the cutting and the slaughter.
Can you provide a link about the discrimination? The slaughter of the meat has to be done by a Muslim in order to be zabihah (referred to halal in this case). I have not heard of anything regarding banning non Muslims from other positions at the companies. I am not Jewish, but I believe similarly in order to be kosher, the person doing the slaughter has to be Jewish.
I saw in a shop that the meat was certified in accordance with sharia law and hand cut by Muslims.
How is that discriminatory? Are you the pp that said the companies refused to hire non Muslims? There is a disagreement among Muslims as to whether meat that is not hand slaughtered is halal. Some Muslims are very careful about eating only hand slaughtered meat. The actual cutting after the animal has died does not need to be done by a Muslim, just the initial cut that kills the animal.
