If you were going to make 4 recipes on repeat every week, what would they be?

Zucchini butter pasta with chopped up steamed lobster

Milk street's chicken and potatoes traybake (this is a riff on arabic and greek chicken and potatoes and it definitely improves on those versions)

Diced chicken breast sauteed with garlic and then add rice and chickpeas and hot water with better than bouillon. I serve it with a sauce (blended tomatoes, bell peppers, lemon and garlic)

Mujaddara (rice and lentils topped with fried shallots)

*chopped up steamed shrimp

We rotated between:

Roasted salmon
Roasted Trader Joe’s Soyaki marinated boneless skinless chicken thighs
Bean/lentil dish
Roasted whitefish (tilapia, sole, cod) with paprika
Boneless pork chops
Cheeseburgers
Pasta dish

I roast veggies or make a hearty salad
Roasted baggies are a combination of: broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, peppers, onion, garlic, cherry tomatoes, …. Always a cruciferous veggie in the bunch.
Salad has kale, spinach, avocado, and anything else I can find in fridge.

We also rotate between brown rice, good bread, or roasted potatoes

Cut up berries, melon, or apples for desert

My new thing is to start the veggies at 425’ on the bottom rack, then 15 minutes in I put the protein in on the top rack and everything cooks for 10-15 more minutes. Then everything comes out hot at the same time.

It really depends on the season - when turnips are in, I make pasties. When kale season starts, I make cosmic kale or chili Mac. When butternut squash comes in, I make butternut Mac and “cheez”. Right now it’s tomatoes so tomato dal is weekly, and pizza margherita.
No meat in our house, I’m always looking to make seasonal vegetables the main event. Kids have an “approved” list of recipes.

I’m trying to follow a general schedule for weeknight meals. The details vary from week to week, but the general format is:

Tuesday Tacos

Thursday Stir fry
Friday Order out

My kids love this. I put the quinoa in a ramekin then turn it upside down on plate so it’s a nice little dome, then put the cosmic kale around the dome in a circle.
