PP here. I'm not trying to be funny, and my husband and I don't have any guns. It seems that they're needed in DC, at least at night. If you think that's trying to be witty, then so be it. |
If this doesn’t get the attention of DC Officials I don’t know what will. I would have thought the killing of the 13 year old car jacking would have but it didn’t.
Hopefully this isn’t a catch and release situation like so many other incidents. |
When I was a teen we used to drive by a house that always had an agent in a car outside for kicks lol. It was so obvious who they were! What a stupid criminal. |
Everyone in DC should get an armed bodyguard. How much would that cost? |
What neighborhood is this? |
Don't worry. The US attorney general can always charge the bodyguards. Did they follow proper procedure? Did they use the minimum force required? Will Flowers have permanent injuries that will prevent him from becoming being successful in society? |
Uh-huh. You play innocent even worse than you employ sarcasm in place of humor. |
She lived here long before she was elevated to the Court. |
Jesus, can you even read? How, precisely, was she lucky? |
Uh, because dangerous criminals aren't allowed to do whatever they want near her home? |
She came from the NY courts, not the DC courts. Why would she have lived there before being on SCOTUS |
Gosh what a dumpy neighborhood... makes the Supreme Court look like a letdown. |

They likely can’t have lawsuits brought against them for actions in the line of duty. |
seriously? |
Supreme Court justices (and all fed judges) don’t get paid all that much. For judges that don’t come from private practice and/or have wealthy spouses, (and don’t take lavish, reported gifts…) they cannot afford to buy a home in eg NW DC. It’s obviously still a great gig financially with lifelong tenure and generous benefits, but that doesn’t leave a ton of excess cash to buy $2 mil houses. I know a circuit judge and she gets paid the same as I do for my bullsh*t finreg job, which is kind of nuts! |
