Do you think most men who travel a lot cheat?

Man here and unfortunately yes. There’s a guy in our neighborhood, we’re all friends and our kids play occasionally. He’s in sales and travels a lot. He’s always complained about his wife on guys nights that they fight a lot, don’t have much in common and he’s not attracted to her anymore after 10 years. But I was shocked when he recently let it slip after a few too many drinks that he’s had flings on more than one occasion while out of town. Could never imagine doing this to my own wife, I’d rather just divorce.

This is why so many pilots cheat. They have so much opportunity. I’m not sure if the job permits the cheating or people who want to cheat pick jobs that give them the opportunity. Probably both.

It can be very hard on a marriage when one spouse travels a lot. So it makes sense that there would be more cheating among marriages where one spouse is frequently traveling. Those marriages were already weakened and then there’s easy opportunity.

I travel a ton. Have never cheated or thought about cheating on my wife. The guys that cheat are the ones I would peg a cheaters, travel or no travel.

I wouldn’t say most cheat but a lot are flirting and having a great time while their wives are at home taking care of kids.

I am a woman that travels with a group of men and we are going to fancy dinners, drinking nightly, and just having a lot of fun. Some of the travel not everyone needs to go, but guys usually tag along to get away from the house.

Do most men cheat a lot on travel? Probably not the majority, but certainly travel leads to a higher percentage than guys who are at home every night.

Agree with this. DC gets tons of cheating wives passing through on business travel. Have had my share of them, they are lots of fun. They are on the apps, usually without face photos.

I think many of them view it as “self care”, similar to you’d go to spa and get a massage. Except they want hot passionate sex with someone who makes them feel desired. They usually are high stress in their real life, so they view it as a discreet escape that they have earned.

No, most women need an emotional connection. I get propositioned all the time during work travel, but the one I want is my coworker because we have an emotional connection. I would never actually cheat with him, but we do flirt a ton and spend a ton of time together during work travel.

I worked for MBB and Big4 traveling for 7+ years. Yes, I'd say 80% cheated.
