Dad here with some gift ideas for Father's Day

Some more ideas for others, inspired by my DH:
- Nice cigars and a cigar humidor
- Professional framing of special items (e.g., jerseys) if DH has an office or man cave
- Heated vest (obviously better for colder months)

OP here — smoking disgusts me, but to each his own. I do have a collection of Zippo lighters though, only I found an insert that dispenses Tic Tac mints instead of fire lol.

Framing is good. Especially for a poster of somewhere you have traveled together or a concert you have seen.

Personally I wouldn’t like a heated vest. But I would love funny socks. But I also run hot in general, so I don’t need artificial heat.

I do like things to prepare for the zombie apocalypse. I recently got a fero rod for starting fires. Pretty cool.

The math on that hurts my eyes

A single bottle is $11. But a bundle of 3 is $34.

What am I missing? Are the bundle bottles bigger?

They’re 11, 12, or 15 bucks each, depending on type, or all 3 for 34. You can just buy one to try it. I like the salts too and spicy chips with fresh guacamole or 7 layer dip and a margarita.

ABC announced a Pappy Van Winkle lottery coming up next week, btw.

15, 20 and 23 years. $170, $200 and $400, respectively.

Worth it if your man likes bourbon. It will make his friends jealous.

Good idea. But don’t buy something if husband/dad still has his own high school jersey around somewhere. Get that framed instead. If I got something like that for Father’s Day, my mind would be blown.

Thank you for posting - This is so interesting! My DH would have a totally different list - he doesn’t drink, eat spicy foods, like sports, & would feel like a kid unwrapping a 6 pack of underwear on Christmas morning if I got him clothes/a hat/a raincoat.

He likes anything “smart” - a smart dog leash, smart garden hose, smart grill brush - who cares, but if it has a little microchip in it, he will happily spend the morning setting up his new toy.

& he’s a Star Wars nerd, so the kids will get him something related to that - a funko pop, mug, etc. that’s what he’ll happily share on his zoom call on Monday with his team.

Favorite food that day is a definite - I think that is the universal common denominator!

Whatever happened to a 12-pack of PBR and an Old Spice gift set?

I'm pretty sure all you need to make beer can chicken is a can of beer and a chicken. And a grill.

What, pray tell, is a smart dog leash? Does it bag the kaka for you?
