Double homicide in Silver Spring

Anonymous
Some parts of silver spring are quite safe however. Such as the Woodside area. East Silver Spring has always been more sketchy though

This park is in eastern downtown Silver Spring, and not near Wheaton.

As long as you’re comfortable with the level of violence then everything is cool, I guess.

I go there all the time. You are absurd stop gas lighting.

I am more concerned in the parking lot of my local Asian grocery store today with the Mormons pushing their religion on customers.

Or my local Giant, when I go in always a bible thumper bothering people.

Ok hold the phone…did you just say you’re more concerned with parking lot proselytizing than murder in a park? Did I read that right?

Pretty clear that’s not what he said, but also pretty clear that you didn’t start this thread in good faith or with any desire to actually discuss anything.

I am not OP. Can you explain what he said because clearly I’m missing it. That’s why I asked.

DP. Get real.

With two 20-year-old men as victims, I am assuming this is drug or gang related. Not exactly the kind of thing that puts the public in danger. More comparable to domestic violence. People who know each other killing each other.

Is there a city with no murders?

Silver Spring is not a “city”.

What amount of murder is acceptable to you?

True Takoma park, Gaithersburg and Rockville are.

How many suburbs surrounded by city and have the population of 80K have no murders.

You are more likely to die by car and have basic human rights taken away by religion than being murdered.

So I wear a seatbelt and don’t let religious zealots take over our govt. I prevent murders by working to ensure everyone can eat and live.

First of all yes technically it is a suburb but I think of dtss as city like. Of course, no murders are acceptable but these 20 years were probably up to no good.
