153 Cogat, 160 NNAT, 99% and 94% I ready. Not in. What is going on? |
What I am seeing is that iReady factored heavily into decisions. My kid had a high COGAT and NNAT, but iReady in the 70s. |
You have to appeal. That's insane. |
same here. High score, not in. have no idea what's going on |
If you aren't trolling, that is a joke. Is your kid identified for level II? Good parent-teacher conference? 3s and 4s on the report card? |
Iready Math 98% reading 88% Maybe iready is the reason DS is not in? |
Cogat 141
Nnat 123 Iready 88 Not in !! |
My kid, who is in, has similar iReadys, except flip math and reading. Did you see HOPE? I have no idea what DC's HOPE is because I figured I wouldn't ask unless I needed to appeal. |
It seems obvious that more than anything, acceptance is dictated by the competition your kids are up against in their home school. |
Cogat 142
NNAT 157 I ready 99th consistently in reading, 90th math Haven't seen HOPE but will be reviewing the whole packet.... NOT IN And seeing how DD has higher scores them most of those accepted I'm pissed and will be appealing. |
My kid was not in pool (so competition was stiff enough) and I didn't expect to be in, yet is in. Scores were middling. |
Can he get in with these marks on appeal? |
May I know where can i see HOPE? |
May I know where can see HOPE and how to request the whole packet? |
Kid got in with scores in the 140's and mostly Always on HOPE, but I really feel like this process is too random/subjective, etc. Sound like lots of kids with nearly perfect NNAT/CogAT didn't get in. Assuming these are legit, that hurts the program. It will be less challenging for the kids who did get in. |
