| Order two adult portions and split them among the four of you. |

I'd expect a restaurant to cancel or upcharge any order that had more kids meals then adult meals, same as eat-in.
There's no reason to give you the "with child" discount if there is no 'with". But feel free to sneak it through because the owner might not notice, I guess. |
| Normally I'd say it's fine to scam a business, but Jesus Christ, during a religious observance? Do you also speedrun your first sin after confession? |
Do you ever get pushback? I've been tempted to do that when portions are so big. |
This!! |

I definitely wouldn’t do it to dine in, but for takeaway it is fine. I’d probably tip more, but that’s just me.

Really? What about a dad with three kids ordering? Can't happen? Also, I order food for the kids when I'm not eating. Can't happen? This thread is weird. It's takeout food. |
| Some restaurants require an adult meal purchased along with kids meals. My husband and I split the adult fish and chips. |
How is ordering food scamming a business? Some of you people need to lay off the caffeine. |
The most unintentionally hilarious think I will read today. |
+1. OP thinks she’s a lavish tipper! |
It’s to go. They aren’t getting service |

I agree with ordered two adult meals. You’ll probably get better quality food too.
Not always, but a lot of times the kids meal fish, or nuggets or whatever are just frozen crap they stick in the deep fryer, while the adult tenders or fried fish is fresh meat/fish they hand-batter there. Also noticed the kids meals sometimes get the sub par pieces: half pieces, broken bits, mostly fried batter/less meat. |
| Sometimes the menu says that a kid is defined as age 12 and under. |
This sort of trolling is so strange. My daughter is a hostess and bags to-go orders. If everyone tipped $5 on a to-go order she'd make hundreds of dollars a night in tips on top of $15 an hour. |
