CNN’s inaugural Road to 270 shows Trump in a position to win the White House

Did none of you even bother to read the Project 2025 thread? It shows. The GOP should be nowhere near power at any level ever again.

The full objectives of Project 2025 will crumble. Trump will be a lame duck, the GOP will be looking past him, and even this SCOTUS won't allow the government to be entirely remade into a dictatorship.

Abortion, abortion, abortion. That is what these polls aren't capturing.

And several court decisions will put abortion squarely in the spotlight in November.

And if abortion rights are thwarted at the state level, it will be easy to draw a straight line to contraceptive rights, which are also in danger.

I cannot with this idiocy

Please tell me what you are doing to stop this? Who are you donating? Who are you volunteering with? This is on US, the people to stop our country from falling into a dictatorship. Don’t complain, Act.

Michigan is not even a purple state anymore, it should be as blue as Nevada - that makes me question the rest of what CNN is trying to sell.

Yes, there are some mad arab voters, but they won't be voting for the guy who wants to deport them.

The issue is if the Republicans also control Congress. Then we're F'd. If Democrats can get Congress a Trump presidency won't do much of anything but churn up some ridiculous sound bites and get the World laughing at us yet again.

He doesn’t want to deport them. Trump doesn’t care about Dearborn.

Many Arabs don’t like how progressive Biden is.

If Florida still has the abortion referendum on the ballot in November, that state could also be in play.

No way GOP keep the House. The only thing I can see them taking is Senate. But abortion pits FL and TX in play and for sure Brown stays in OH.

The GOP has a mouth full of bumper. Idiots.

And many moderate Republicans and Independents don’t like how criminal Trump is and what he’s done to abortion. We don’t know what’s going to happen based on polls a year out where respondents feel compelled to answer Trump when queries by a third party.

The GOP will soon start jockeying for their place in a post-Trump world. He'll quickly become irrelevant, obviously steal as much as he can, etc. And it'll be up to the next President (Democrat or Republican) to fix everything he breaks. But it'll finally be over.

The flip side is that Trump doesn't have to be restrained by constantly thinking about the re-election.

Michigan has the most Arabic/Muslim population in the country- much more than the usual margin of victory.

Trump can win and then run for re-election. The prohibition is on three conservative terms, not three terms

"Section 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term."

Also, magnets work in water. Just in case you're wondering.

But you forgot that the eligibility requirements are actually unenforceable against trump. Because...reasons.

It also has a tone of union workers who have switched to supporting Biden. Ultimately, many of the Arabs who are upset with Biden will won't vote for Trump, so it will stay blue.

To be fair, I doubt Trump was ever constrained by that. He's not a very strategic thinker. He says whatever people clap for, and that can change room-to-room or day-to-day.
