CNN’s inaugural Road to 270 shows Trump in a position to win the White House

The Biden campaign is grappling with a stubborn reality: the majority of undecided voters simply do not seem to believe – at least not yet – that Donald Trump is likely to be the GOP nominee (nearly 3 in 4, per internal campaign research)

Well they’ll find out in the next month or so. So not really a problem for Biden. Actually seems like a big problem for Trump.

You forget that in the “liberal media” everything is a problem for Joe Biden.

I hear baby killer and forced birther a lot more than I hear people having a civil discussion about an abortion law that can hopefully make sense to the majority. A very small percentage of people feel that that abortion in any and all circumstances should be illegal or that abortion should be legal in any and all circumstances until a baby takes it first breath. This complicated decision is a private matter to be discussed between a woman and her doctor but for everyone that isn't a forced birther or baby killer, there is discussion and debate to be had on the specifics of an abortion law.

We had the protections of roe for 50 years and we need to return to that.

Who is "we"? Merely asking because there are plenty of pro life women. Just pointing this out.

Roe was a very badly designed ruling and its constitutional justification was suspicious. Even RBG acknowledged it.

If we'd not had Roe but instead left it to the states, then over the subsequent decades would have been localized step by step agreement towards a consensus among voters and state governments to end up with similar to what we find in European countries, which is legalized for first phase and banned in later phases. That is the national consensus going by the polls. But Roe created a one size fits all ruling and stripped the power away from voters. I'm actually quite supportive of the ruling overturning Roe and returning the matter to the states, because the voters have shown their say, even in deep red states like Kansas. That's far more powerful a signal that most people do want some access to abortion than any SCOTUS ruling.

Scotus rulings are powerful even if the court itself is corrupt. when the current justices are replaced, so can the forced birther injustice.

Isn't that the ACTUAL history of it?

No. No it isn’t.

I agree. I think abortion should be legal regardless of circumstance for at least 25-30 weeks and longer for cases where the are health concerns with the mother and/or baby. Should it be shorter or longer than 25-30 weeks?

Definitely mine, and not necessarily in that order.
