We are having ham, so can’t help you. Turkey is the alternative for us. I’d actually prefer turkey but my mom likes ham, so ham it is.

We have a small group and don’t want leftovers as we leave the next day to see family. So…
Filet mignon probably with a mustard thyme sauce
Homemade Spaetzle with butter
Caprese salad
Green salad

Dessert will be either individual trifles or chocolate lava cakes

We do tamales and enchiladas with tres leches cake on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day we are doing biscuits and gravy, chocolate crepes and eggnog French toast for brunch and then broccoli cheddar soup in bread bowls with gingerbread for dessert.
