1) he is the sitting president. when was the last time a sitting president was forced out? (never in the 20th or 21st century)
2) it gives the media a "dems in disarray" narrative that would undermine the party and the chances at re-election
3) who would be a good consensus candidate? Can't be someone too progressive or too moderate - ie Biden.

After seeing his opposition bumble into WW3 and cause hyper inflation people are longing for Trump to fix everything again.

He didn't cause hyperinflation...that was a result of COVID/Supply Chain and now price gauging. Proof? The US inflation is the lowest in the world.

There is no price gouging. You are not forced to purchase a product. You have the freedom to walk away.

Also, there is no hyperinflation (yet). We just have high inflation and sticky inflation.

I doubt US inflation is the lowest in the world. There's a lot of measuring going on for that. But the 40K Ford truck is suddenly 65-70K. Let's not act like we don't have high inflation as a result of poor energy policy pushed through ideology rather than sound analysis. See endless Executive Orders to steer the economy... much like a "command economy" that brought down the Soviet Union and Iron Curtain countries.

I don't think anybody on the Dem side wants to say this out loud but...if Biden drops out then one of two things happen: 1) Harris is on top of the ticket and she's just as flawed a candidate as he is, or 2) Harris gets replaced by somebody else, alienating a large portion of their base.

But you had no problem with Trumps excessive executive orders, right?

I have said both of these things in this forum a number of times.

But I also don't have a problem with Harris.

The only reason the Ford truck is more expensive is because it is what Ford thinks it is worth now. The technology etc behind it is roughly the same as it was 3 years ago.

And yes, the US inflation is the lowest in the world. Show a link for a country where it is lower.

He will drop out. Give it time. Trump will then be crushed.

Do it soon, because the shaking hands with people that aren't there or having problems finding the exit from a stage or calling on reporters and saying "let me find my list...I have to call on the right people or I'll get in trouble" routine is getting old.

I love Joe! Happy to have him in the Oval Office and I will happily vote for him again.

I think this whole "drop out Joe" is to distract us from all the Republicans acting like fools.

Biden just won yet another negotiation with Republicans to keep the government open. And he’ll win the next one too. And then he’ll beat Trump in 2024. He’s a winner. He has a knack for always coming out on top.

Another Biden hating thread to distract from all the crimes committed by the mango Mussolini.

I will vote for Joe again too. I think he'a great. And I'd vote for any Democrat or even a dead horseshoe crab instead of that criminal the GOP is proposing.
