Life well lived |
I don't think it is sad. She was 96! |
I suspect so. Much respect to First Lady Carter. |
+2 He was clearly holding out for her to pass, especially knowing of her dementia. |
| Peace to her spirit. |
| May her memory be a blessing. |
| A life well lived. May she rest in peace. |
This. She lived an exemplary life despite difficult times and public scrutiny. Her actions were consistent with her stated beliefs and goals. They seemed to have a true partnership. |

When I was little growing up in my dysfunctional family with alcoholic abusive adulterer mentally ill parents, I wanted the Carters to be my parents. Later on in life I wanted to find a person with whom I could have a marriage like that - which is why I ended up sticking to singledom.
I work in hospice so my heart is happy for Rosalynn’s from her earthly body, as I will be for Jimmy when his time comes and I would bet that will be very, very soon - they were that kind of couple. End of an era. RIP |
Rosalynn’s release from her earthly body, that is |
| I saw Jimmy Carter speak at my college, although the auditorium was packed and I had to stand at the back entrance. Maybe he'll hold out til he's 100? |
It is sad whenever you lose a good person no matter how old that person is. -dp |
He's been in hospice care for nine months. What's 10+ more months? And when can he mail in his vote? |
Poor taste pp. |
| She was classy and real. She was the last First Lady to send her child to a DCPS school instead of an elite, mega-bucks private. |
