I'm happy for her that her suffering has ended, and that she went first. I wouldn't wish dementia on my worst enemy. Poor Jimmy, but they had a wonderful life together and it won't be long before he joins her.

She lived a long life. Jimmy Carter will follow soon. He's in hospice as well.

I read they thought he had only days when he entered hospice months ago. That man has something special!

He turned 99 last month.

Sadly I think losing his wife might end his will to live.

She has entered her heavenly kingdom. But we've lost an icon of goodness, and decency, so rare in our world today.
